In Governor DeSantis' announcement Wednesday, he mandated schools to continue distance learning.

A school district is getting some help making that a reality.

Alachua County Public Schools have received a grant from the Florida Education Foundation to help their school bus wi-fi program.

The district was awarded $5,000.

The service sends buses installed with hot-spot devices to 45 high-need neighborhoods for 3 hours a day on weekdays.
