The Alachua Habitat for Humanity has received a $40,000 grant from Lowe's.

The grant will be used for revitalization in the Duval neighborhood and host a summer college and technical career exploration program, a medical career exploration program, and a back to school event.

16 Habitat organizations were chosen from across the country for the grant.
