ALACHUA, Fla. (WCJB) - Families came out for a night of pumpkin carving, face painting, and food trucks at the Alachua Pumpkin Patch on Friday.

The pumpkin patch is open from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 8 p.m.

“Our pumpkin patch funds our youth program at our church and our mission projects to Appalachian Service Project and to the Dominican Republic,” said Chloe Campbell, Youth Director at First United Methodist Church.

There's also a fall festival coming up at the Alachua Pumpkin Patch on Sunday, October 20.

There will be bounce houses, face painting, and activities for kids of all ages.
