Andrelo Witcher found guilty in disappearance of Heather Macrossen

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Late Thursday afternoon, a jury found Andrelo Witcher guilty of manslaughter in the case of Heather Macrossen.

Maccrossen's body has never been found and no physical evidence tying her to Andrelo exists. However, multiple witnesses stated witcher was abusive, had told Maccrossen he would "kill her and hide her body where her family would never find it". He is believed to have picked her up from the Greyhound bus station where she was last seen alive.

The jury took nearly 5 hours to deliberate before finding witcher guilty. Witcher did not show any emotion when his verdict was read. Maccrossen family members ran out of the courtroom in tears of joy.

Witcher's sentencing has been set for January 11th. His lawyers declined an on-camera interview but there is a good chance the verdict will be appealed.
