Buchholz principal removed from position
An investigation that started last month after a formal complaint was filed against Buchholz principal Michael DeLucas, has now come to an end.
Alachua County Public Schools spokesperson Jackie Johnson has confirmed to WCJB TV20 that DeLucas will no longer be the principal at Buchholz.
This comes after their investigation found he made inappropriate comments to a female student.
Westwood Middle School principal James Tenbieg has been chosen to replace Delucas. The board will vote to confirm the choice on November 7th.
DeLucas has been issued a citation and reassigned to transportation, where he will be a maintenance manager.
