GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) — Otis Yelverton, the former Assistant Director of Player Personnel on Dan Mullen's staff, had his charges dismissed according to a Case Action Report filed on Monday.

Yelverton was originally charged with aggravated stalking on April 23.

The case action report stated that all charges were dismissed due to "insufficient evidence to sustain a conviction."

In a media statement, Yelverton expressed remorse over the ongoing procedures and said "I want to thank the State Attorney’s office for their thoughtful consideration of the evidence in this matter and the decision not to file charges against me..." He also mentioned that he will be resuming his career elsewhere.

Yelverton goes on to say, "The University Athletic Association terminated my employment on May 29, 2019 before this matter could be resolved in the judicial system and despite my statements of innocence and repeated requests for patience."
