Chiefland man wins $5 million prize from the $20 Gold Rush Classic Scratch-Off Game

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCJB)-- According to the Florida Lottery, Luis Bruno, 55, of Chiefland, claimed a $5 million top prize in the $20 GOLD RUSH CLASSIC Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. Bruno chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $3,550,000.00.

Bruno bought the winning ticket from Murphy Express, at 2126 North Young Boulevard in Chiefland. The place will receive a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
