GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB)-- More than 20 employers visited City College today in Gainesville to help fill positions in the local area.
City College held their 2019 Spring Career Fair on campus. The fair was was not only open to students but residents as well.
"One of the greatest things about our career fair is that it's open to the public so it's not just geared towards showcasing the skills talents of our students but many of our local residents are free to participate in this fair," City College Career Service Representative Gloria P. Ashley said.
The featured employers in attendance were: Alachua County Fire Rescue, ARC of Alachua City, Biotest, Greater Gainesville, Chamber of Commerce, Comfort Keepers, Exatech, FL Dept. of Corrections, Gainesville Fire Rescue, Hospital Housekeeping, Systems for North FL Regional, LifeSouth, Lowe's, Meridian, Nationwide Insurance, NFETC, North FL Retirement Village, SIMED Health, Tri Country Metals, UF Health Shands, UF Animal Hospital, UF Mobile Outreach, US 2020 Census, US Army, and Waffle House.
