City of Gainesville activates Cold Night Shelter Programs

Gainesville, Fla. (WCJB) -- As temperatures are expected to drop below 45 degrees, the city of Gainesville is helping keep residents warm.

The city is activating the Cold Night Shelter Program.

Saint Francis House on 413 South Main Street and Grace Marketplace on 3055 Northeast 28th Avenue are open to residents and families in need starting Sunday, Jan. 19

The shelters will stay open through Tuesday, Jan. 21.

The program usually runs from November to March.
