For new college students fresh out of the military, the first-semester tuition can be a bridge too far because it takes a while for the GI Bill to kick in.
But so-called "bridge scholarships" often make all the difference.
Tuesday, Clay Electric donated 10-thousand dollars to the Korean War Veteran's Association to support bridge scholarships.
The check presentation was made at the American Legion Post in Gainesville.
