BELLEVIEW, Fla. (WCJB) – Deputies are investigating another threat to shoot up Belleview Middle and High School just after an earlier threat was made.
Marion County Deputies have reason to believe the threat was made on social media, but that the sender may not have had anything to do with it.
Someone using a current student's account made a threat to shoot up Belleview Middle and High school on Thursday. When the message was sent, the person whose name is on the account had been with school administrators at the time.
This investigation follows the arrest of a ninth-grade student who threatened to shoot up the same school on Tuesday , just two days before the second year anniversary of the Parkland school shooting.
Deputies plan to increase police presence at both schools Thursday.
