Rain pours on 37th Annual Downtown Festival and Art Show

GAINESVILLE, Fla., (WCJB) -- Though the weather was gloomy, thousands of vivid colors and works of art brightened up the streets of downtown Gainesville this weekend.

That's because the city shut down a section of downtown for the 37th annual Downtown Festival and Art show.

Thousands of people came out for the event despite the downpour, and over two-hundred-and-forty artists displayed their work.

There was also a wide array of food, live music, and activities to enjoy.
