GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - The Florida Department of Transportation, otherwise known as FDOT, wants to know what you think about proposed changes to roads in Gainesville.

FDOT wants to modify the medians and turning lanes as well as add a green bike lane on 34th Street, 2nd Avenue, and West University Avenue.

The work would also complete ADA (American Disabilities Act), lighting, and drainage improvements.

A public hearing will be held on January 6th at the Holy Faith Catholic Church on Northwest 43rd Street to talk about the changes.

Public comment begins at 6:00 p.m.
