FDOT to install guardrails along I-75 near Paynes Prairie

After numerous scary wrecks over the years, the Florida Department of Transportation now plans to install guardrails along I-75 near Paynes Prairie.
The project will begin next week. It is estimated to cost a little more than a million dollars.
FDOT has hired Anderson Columbia who is based in Lake City for the job. Drivers should expect lane closures at night on weekdays.
The project is expected to be completed in summer 2020.
