Next weekend, the University of Florida’s annual Family Day at the Dairy Farm will take place Saturday March 31st at the UF Dairy Unit.
It’s an open house for the general public to visit a working dairy farm. Cows are usually milked 2-3 times per day producing about 6 to 8 gallons. There will be educational stations staffed by professors, graduate students and volunteers. Admission for the public is free. Learn where milk comes from.
