LOS ANGELES, Ca. (WCJB)-- A lawsuit has been filed by the family of a 13-year-old girl against Kyle Massey, known for his role as Cory Baxter on the Disney Channel hit show “That’s so Raven”, according to a report from People.
The family told investigators Massey sent the child sexually explicit material and attempted to commit a lewd act. He’s also accused of annoying or molesting a minor and emotional distress, according to court documents.
The lawsuit said the child met Massey when she was 4-years-old. Because of her interest in entertainment, the two kept in contact over the years.
Then, in 2018, the lawsuit said the girl reached out to Massey about interest in a reboot of his show “Cory in the House”. It said Massey would later request to be the girl’s friend on SnapChat and send her explicit text messages, images, and videos.
The girl’s family has demanded $1.5 million.
