A former Gainesville Regional Airport facilities manager has officially been charged for stealing nearly $50,000 from the airport.

The State Attorney's Office report states 65 year old Paul Adjan was able to access the money through kiosks in the parking lot.

The charges include aggravated white collar crime, money laundering and grand theft. He committed the crimes between April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017. He was fired from the airport last June.

Video surveillance of the theft was overwritten, because it only stores for a certain amount of time, so officials had to follow a paper trail for evidence.
