The fourth annual Lemon Ball is taking place on Friday October 4th, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention. All of the proceeds raised at the event help fund the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation grant at UF Health's Brain Tumor Immunotherapy program.

Rod Whited the chair of the event said that this is a topic that he is very passionate about and that's what urged him to start this event. He said, that Alex's wish was to have all childhood cancers cured. Here in North Central Florida at the University of Florida Dr. Catherine Flores is working on research to help brain cancer. Alex suffered from neuroblastoma which is a type of brain cancer.

Whited said, Dr. Flores helped a little girl that did not have a good prognosis, over six years ago, but now she is doing well. Dr. Flores along with Alex's mom Liz will be attending the 2019 Lemon Ball.
