GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB)-- A 60-year-old woman was taken into custody Saturday after Gainesville police say she started drinking in public and yelling at firefighters inside their station.

According to her arrest report, Barbara Annette Mincer was drinking and angrily yelling at the fire station on Northwest 30th Avenue.

Detectives said she told firefighters to come outside and investigate what was going on.

Mincer was told to leave, however, officers said she moved to another side of the building and sat on a bench where she continued to yell at people.

Police said she continued to drink and yelled at nearby gas pumps and people who would pass by. Mincer was later taken into custody.

Mincer told detectives she purchased the beer from a nearby gas station. She was booked into the Alachua County Jail on charges of trespass and disorderly conduct.
