GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) — A Gainesville man was arrested Monday after police said he raped and sent sexual images to a minor.

According to the police report, Nathan Jennings, 36, was arrested for resisting officers when his girlfriend found him sleeping in her home and violated a dating violence injunction against him from a previous case.

Jennings’s girlfriend told police he was sending pictures of his genitals to minors using her phone.

During the investigation police learned Jennings raped a 17-year-old girl and continued to send pictures of his genitals to her.

The girl told police Jennings threatened her if she ever told anyone about the incident.

Police said the investigation is on-going as they believe he sent pictures to more minors.

Jennings was charged with sexual battery on a victim under 18 but over 12, transmission of material harmful to minors and resisting arrest. He was booked at the Alachua County Jail with bond set at $355,000.
