GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB)-- In April, the city of Gainesville's audit on the Reichert House Youth Academy which found multiple problems including lack of transparency and poorly documented spending was itself under investigation for potential bias.

In the end, city commissioners voted to accept the report and bring in a third-party auditor as well.

The audit itself found nearly $40,000.00 was spent without an explanation of how that money benefitted the program.

The update is scheduled to be heard during the city commission meeting at the Gainesville City Hall Auditorium this afternoon, which starts at 1:00 PM.
