GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB)- On Thursday night, Gainesville city commissioners will vote on the new city budget.
It will be the second and final reading of the budget, which has been contentious between some residents and commissioners.
GRU rates, fire assessment fees, and property taxes are some of the issues at stake.
This will be the residents' last chance to make public comment before a vote on the budget is taken.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
