Fire rescue crews were called early Sunday morning to a reported wreck at the intersection of Northwest 23rd Avenue and Northwest 43rd Street in Gainesville.
Just before 1:30 a.m., investigators said a driver, in a full-size pick-up truck, was heading west on Northwest 16th Boulevard when he failed to make a turn.
The truck hit a tree before hitting the CVS at the intersection, crossing the parking lot, and hitting another tree.
Two people were taken to an area hospital. Their names and conditions were not released.
The investigation has been turned over to the Gainesville Police Department.
