Gainesville Housing Authority breaks ground on new housing community

Gainesville city leaders broke ground on a new affordable housing community.
The Grove of Sweetwater Preserve in Southwest Gainesville will include one to four-bedroom units.
Gainesville Housing Authority officials say it's not just about creating affordable living but also preparing residents for jobs opportunities.
Phase one of the redevelopment is set to be finished by the Fall of 2020
