Gainesville Pride Days 2019 events
Here is a list of events going on in the community this weekend for Gainesville Pride Days 2019.
Saturday, October 26th:
12 pm- The Annual Pride Parade begins at 7th St and W University Ave and proceeds east on University Ave to S 1st St.
1-9 pm- The Annual Pride Festival in Downtown Gainesville’s Bo Diddley Plaza will have dozens of local musical acts and over one hundred vendors. A “Kids Space” will also be available. The event is free and open to the public.
Sunday, October 27th:
9:15 am- The United Church of Gainesville (1624 NW 5th Ave) will worship at Pride-themed services at 9:15 & 11:15 a.m., led by Associate Minister Talia Raymond, followed by a potluck brunch in the fellowship hall after the 11:15 service that all are welcome to attend.
10:30 am- The Annual Gainesville Pride Brunch at Emiliano’s Café (7 SE 1st Ave, Gainesville) is co-hosted by Gainesville Community Alliance and PCCNCF.
11:00 am- The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Gainesville (4225 NW 34th Street) will present “Remembering Local Victims of Homophobia: The Johns Committee.”
