Gainesville man wins 2 million from scratch-off

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB)-- Who wants to be a millionaire? Just ask a man in Gainesville.

State lottery officials say 31-year old, Himanshu Patel, won two million dollars from a 24 karat cash scratch-off game.

He bought the ticket at the Kwik Shop on West Newberry road. That location will receive 4-thousand dollars as commission.

He chose to receive his winnings in annual installments of 80-thousand dollars a year for 25 years.
