GasBuddy activates fuel availability tracker for Hurricane Dorian

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB)-- GasBuddy activated their fuel availability tracker online in Florida. They also say they are prepared to activate in other affected areas ahead of Hurricane Dorian’s arrival to help drivers find fuel.

GasBuddy says when these type of features are activated for an area, the free app can show the users when stations have no gasoline, no diesel or no power so that drivers can try other stations. The crowdsourced tracker can be updated by drivers and shows the status of locations that have been reported to the GasBuddy app.
