Gator Grad receives over $1,000,000 award to complete her study

A Gator Grad has received an award for over $1,000,000 to complete her work into studying the experiences of African American girls in the STEM field.

Doctor Natalie King, who has received three degrees from the University of Florida, won the National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development Award.

King will conduct a 5-year study exploring how African American girls develop positive science, technology, engineering, and math identities.
