HAWTHORNE, Fla. (WCJB) – The turnaround continues for one North Central Florida school.
Just two years ago Hawthorne Middle-High school nearly shut down because of poor grades.
Now, Mayor Matt Surrency is announcing the school's first magnet program. Business and agriculture will be included in the curriculum.
On January 28, the school will host an open house to launch the agribusiness magnet program.
