High Springs City Commission holds meeting to address water bottling permit

HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. (WCJB) - The High Springs City Commission is taking another look at its position on the Seven Springs Water Bottling Permit.

In January, commissioners couldn't decide on a resolution opposing the application to pump over one million gallons of water a day out of Ginnie Springs.

Thursday night, they held a meeting to discuss sending a letter opposing the permit to the Suwannee River Water Management District ahead of the district likely taking up the application next month.
