"Hot Cop" to work Grammys red carpet

The Gainesville "Hot Cop" who stole NCFL's hearts after Hurricane Irma, will be stealing them once again this time on a red carpet.

Daniel Rengering, will join the Grammys as a red carpet correspondent and host. Rengering says, "Music has been such a key part of my life, and I'm a big fan of The Grammys, and what they do. I'm so honored to be able to have candid conversations with such legendary performers, and am humbled at the opportunity to stand on such a prestigious red carpet."

Monday, it was announced that Rengering would also be working as a red carpet correspondent at the SAG Awards. Rengering has been featured on the cover of over 60 books as a model, and will appear on season 37 of Survivor.

He's currently on leave from the Gainesville Police Department.
