House Bill to support STEM for veterans passes

A bill sponsored by North Central Florida Congressman Neal Dunn designed to help veterans build STEM careers has passed in the House of Representatives.

The bill instructs the National Science Foundation to develop an outreach plan to give veterans a chance to explore different opportunities in the science, technology, engineering, and math fields.

The bill was approved by the House last year, but the Senate failed to pass it.This time Florida Senator Marco Rubio has introduced a companion bill in the Senate.
