Trouble for what has been a successful tech start-up in Gainesville.
Last week, a Jury in the Eighth Judicial Circuit found that Prioria Robotics, which produces unmanned aerial vehicles, breached a contract with a marketer from North Carolina.
Condor claimed that Prioria used consumer-grade technology in its UAV, that can be found in drones sold at hobby stores.
And Condor claimed that a defective UAV they sent to Prioria for repairs, was never returned. The Jury found that "Condor Aerial" had suffered more than $1.3 million in damages, as a result.
