Lee Niblock settles two legal cases against him, pleads 'no contest' to another

ALACHUA, Fla. (WCJB) -- Former Alachua and Marion County Manager Lee Niblock settled two legal cases against him in a single motion on Tuesday.

State Attorney Bill Cervone says Niblock entered into a deferred prosecution agreement after he was accused of harassing a woman whom he had offered a job.

At the same time, Niblock pleaded "no contest" to a similar case in Collier County, where he had been fired as city manager of Marco Island.

The agreement here comes with several conditions; Cervone says Niblock will have to get counseling, pay legal costs, and write a letter of apology.
