Levy County accident leaves one dead, two injured

LEVY COUNTY, Fla. (WCJB)-- An accident in Levy County around 10 pm Sunday night has left one person dead and two others with serious injuries.

Florida Highway Patrol reports 26-year-old William Lamarco was traveling east on County Rd. 346A approaching the US HW 129. At the intersection where he failed to stop at the stop sign and another vehicle collided with him.

The second vehicle driven by Amy Anderson of Chiefland, Florida, hit Lamarco's vehicle on the left side. The vehicle then collided with a tree, causing the driver, not restrained by a seatbelt, to be ejected from the vehicle.

William Lamarco of Connecticut died at the scene.

Amy Anderson and her passenger Justin Anderson are being treated for serious injuries at Shans Hospital.
