PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. (WCJB) --

A school was locked down Tuesday after a student brought multiple weapons onto campus.

Putnam County deputies say they arrested a 13-year-old student at Jenkins Middle School.

The sheriff's office has posted the identity of the student to their Facebook page but TV20 has elected not to share that information due to his age.

Deputies say a tip led to them detaining the student.

He had two firearms and four knives in his possession.

He is facing 3 felony charges for bringing the weapons to campus and is being held at a juvenile detention center in Volusia County.
