UPDATE: BCSO rule CSX train death a suicide following investigation

UPDATE:
Bradford County Sheriff's deputies have finished an investigation into a pedestrian death in Lawtey.

Deputies say his death has been ruled a suicide.

CSX did release a statement saying the train was bound for Miami. They also offer their "deepest sympathies to everyone impacted by this tragic incident.

ORIGINAL STORY:
Early Wednesday afternoon an individual was struck and killed by a CSX train in Lawtey.

Police have identified the victim as a 54-year-old white male with an address in Middleburg, Florida. The name of the individual will not be released until all proper notifications to the immediate family are completed.

The circumstances of the incident are still being investigated.

Bradford County Sheriff Office advises drivers to avoid the area of CR125 at the Railroad for the next few hours.
