GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB)-- Guilty - that's the verdict for a man involved in a robbery case in 2015 that left one man dead in Gainesville.
Yarnell Bagley, who was 22-years-old at the time, was found guilty Friday.
He is one of three men involved in a robbery that killed James Rentz in 2015.
Bagley, along with Freddi Lynum and Brandon Hudson, robbed Rentz outside of his apartment and shot him.
Gainesville police found a short-barrelled AK 47 near the scene. Forensic evidence from the weapon led to the indictment.
When investigators positively identified the suspects, all three were already in the Alachua County Jail on unrelated charges,
Bagley has been in and out of detention facilities since he was a teenager.
In 2011, he was just 17-years-old when he escaped from a juvenile detention facility while facing charges of grand theft and burglary.
In 2014, he was a person of interest in the murder of a 55-year-old man killed in Citra.
