Marion County Pets: Chip, Gunner, and Root

MARION COUNTY, Fla. (WCJB)-- Marion County Animal Services is continuing their half-price adoptions during PAWgust! Cat and dog adoptions are only $25 during the month of August! Adoption price includes up-to-date vaccinations, county license, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery.

Chip (237521) is a four-month-old, male terrier mix breed dog. He is learning basic obedience and social etiquette through their FIDO Project. Chip is eager to please and learning how to be a family dog. Right out of the Never-ending Story, Chip’s resemblance to the legendary Falcor is uncanny and goes far deeper than his wiry coat.

Gunner (A225217) has been at the center for nearly a year. This six-year-old, male mixed breed dog who would thrive with a calm, soft-spoken household. Gunner will give you endless affection…if you like that sort of thing!

Root (A240737) is a four-month-old, male short-haired cat. This handsome boy and his sister are looking for homes. They both love to cuddle up with someone at the same time, two snuggles are so much better than one!
