OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) -- A Marion County School Staff Member is being investigated after he was accused of molesting a student.
According to an Ocala Police arrest report, Dontay Prophet, 27, and the victim met during the summer of 2017.
That's when, detectives say, he invited the victim to watch a movie at his home. While there, the report goes on to say, the victim reported Prophet sexually touched him while both of them were wearing clothes.
It says Prophet then drove the victim home and admitted to touching one other student.
Kevin Christian, the Director of Public Relations for Marion County Public Schools has confirmed that Prophet's last position was as a behavioral specialist at South Ocala Elementary and has been placed on administrative leave since February 2019.
Prophet was later arrested on charges of lewd or lascivious molestation. He was booked into the Marion County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
