(WCJB) - Two North-Central Florida communities are among 24 divvying up 16 million dollars from the state.
The city of Archer will receive $650,000 for low-to-moderate income households needing repairs.
The town of Micanopy will get 600,000 dollars for a new well, well pump, and to make electrical improvements. The project is expected to benefit nearly 700 people.
Funding was made available through the Florida Small Cities Community Development block grant program.
