New Gainesville City Manager to earn salary of $255,000

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) -

Gainesville's new City Manager Lee Feldman will earn a base salary of $255,000 according to a contract approved by the Gainesville City Commission on Thursday, October 3rd.

Previous City Manager Anthony Lyons started at a salary of $222,000 in 2016 and when Russ Blackburn left the job in 2015, he was making $181,000 according to a Gainesville Sun report.

Feldman is scheduled to take over the job on November 4th.
