Nine people inside vehicle that turned over in Alachua County, several injured

Seven people were injured late Saturday evening after the vehicle they were riding in flipped over, according to Alachua County Fire Rescue.

The driver was heading north on I-75 when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle steered into a ditch and turned over.

Those seven people were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Two others were unharmed. Four were adults while five were children, detectives said.

It’s unknown how old the occupants are. However, ACFR reminds people to always wear their seatbelts.
