It's a major honor for North Central Florida's growing biotech industry. Alachua County is one of six communities in Florida to be showcased in the 8th Ace Exchange.
50 economic and political decision makers from across the Western Hemisphere will tour innovative hubs, leading firms, and educational, and research institutions.
They will visit institutions such as the University of Florida's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, and the University of Florida's Sid Martin Biotechnology Institute, the week of December 4th.
The Ace program is hosted by the U.S. Departments of State and Commerce, in coordination with the Organization of American States.
