One dead and another hospitalized in an three-vehicle crash in Ocala

MARION COUNTY, Fla. (WCJB) -- One man is dead and a child is in the hospital after a three-vehicle crash in Ocala this morning.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers say Mark Murch was driving North on US 441 and lost control. Crossing the median hitting 59-year-old Kenneth Hammond's vehicle head-on.

Janet Morton was traveling behind Hammond and could not stop in time, hitting both vehicles.

Hammon was killed, and his 5-year-old passenger was hospitalized with serious injuries. Mortan also sustained serious injuries, Murch had only minor injuries.
