GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - High school students from PK Yonge made a difference today by giving away toys.
The students traveled to Orlando to work with other robotics teams to create switch- adapted toys and assistive technology switches for those with disabilities.
They took the toys to the Sidney Lanier Center. The team plans to do this throughout 2019, even shadowing kids at Sidney Lanier to see what their needs are.
In February the team will present their experiences at the assistive technology industry association conference.
