Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo working to become more inclusive for those with sensory issues

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - The Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo is working to become more inclusive for people with sensory issues.

The zoo is working with the University of Florida Center for Autism to become a sensory inclusive-certified facility.

They held "Quiet Time at the Zoo," which was their first big push to become sensory inclusive.

They are working to become 'Kulturecity' certified which requires 50 percent of their staff to have sensory-inclusive training.
