Several cold night shelters in NCFL open this week

As the temperatures drop, North Central Floridians are opening their doors; several cold shelters are opening this week for those in need.

In Alachua County, Grace Marketplace and the Saint Francis House cold night shelters are open Monday and Tuesday night with check-in between 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

In Columbia County, Parkview Baptist Church in Lake City is opening its shelter Monday evening with check-in from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The Salvation Army's Ocala location on Northwest 1st Avenue will be accepting those who need a place to stay through the night on Monday and Tuesday. Check-in there starts at 6:30 p.m.
