Short term vacation rentals now allowed to reopen in Putnam County

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. (WCJB) -- Putnam County Administrator Terry Suggs wrote a letter to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) to reopen short term vacation rentals in Putnam County.

On Friday, the request was approved.

According to the governor's executive order, commissioners say counties can reopen vacation rentals with a written request and approval from the county administrator.
