HIGH SPRINGS,Fla. (WCJB)- If you're singing the blues then you're in luck.
The sixth annual "Folk In The Springs" is back this weekend in High Springs.
The free event features nine artists from around Florida and Alabama playing varieties of folk music and the blues.
The festivities are expected to last eight hours with performances at seven different locations within walking distance around High Springs.
More than a thousand people are expected to attend this year.
“High Springs has always had music since it's been around, even from the late 1800's all the way to current. So we're kinda carrying on that torch and that tradition bringing live music to the area,” High Springs Music In The Park & Concert Series President Michael Loveday said.
The event kicks off at 11 am on Sunday at James Paul Park.
